It is not uncommon in Utah for adjoining landowners to dispute where the boundary is between the properties.  Nor is it uncommon for two or more persons to claim title to the same piece of property.  This latter situation may arise when one person has been in possession of the land for a significant period of time, but does not have a deed identifying that person as owner of the land in question.  This situation may also arise when the original owner separately conveys the same property to two or more persons, each of whom claim title to the entire parcel.
